Giancarlo is a strict and narrow-minded father who grew up in a small Italian village in the mid-20th century. So when his daughter, Micaela, tells him that she’s moving in with her partner and that she’s pregnant, he refuses to accept it. After a long day of classes, Clara decides to head home. On her way, she starts receiving AirDrop messages — photos of herself taken in real time. At first, she thinks her friend Andrés is following her and playing a prank. But with each new message, Clara realizes that her friend isn’t the one behind it.
Frightened, she walks faster and tries to ignore the constant notifications popping up on her phone.
Once home, she locks herself in her room and, for a moment, feels safe… until she finally looks at the photos she had ignored.
Jorge is a firefighter who returns home after a long, exhausting day, wanting nothing more than to rest. When he arrives, he realizes his wife isn’t there. As he tries to relax, the phone keeps ringing, but he chooses to ignore it. It’s only when Elena finally comes home and answers the call that Jorge learns a terrible truth.

Here I had the opportunity to experience one of Colombia’s most beautiful traditions up close: the Barranquilla Carnival. More specifically, I learned a lot about mapalé, an Afro-Colombian rhythm that, until then, was completely unknown to me.
